What's new in ITCH 1.7.1?
- WARNING, the Mac OS version requires DISABLING GATEKEEPER to run A simple workaround for the Mac OS is available here. Textreme 2 is also available on Steam!
- Serato DJ now replaces ITCH and is a free upgrade for supported controllers. Download Serato DJ and try it for yourself. Mac users on 10.5.8 or less should read this FAQ before downloading. Serato is pleased to announce the release of ITCH 2.2.2, the latest free update for Serato ITCH DJs.
- It is a Unix-based operating system built on NeXTSTEP and other technology developed at NeXT from the late 1980s until early 1997, when Apple purchased the company and its CEO Steve Jobs returned to Apple. Precursors to the original release of Mac OS X include OpenStep, Apple's Rhapsody project, and the Mac OS X Public Beta.
ITCH 1.7.1 is a maintenance update that is recommended for all ITCH users.
If you are using a Numark NS6 you will need to use ITCH for Numark NS6.
If you are using a Pioneer DDJ-S1 you will need to use ITCH for Pioneer DDJ-S1.

- Download the latest version from https://itch.io/app
- Open the DMG image, a window pops up:
- Drag the app to the
Applicationsfolder - Close & eject the DMG image
- Launch the app by searching 'itch' in Spotlight
Verifying the app
Recent versions of Mac OS X have built-in code signature verification mechanismsenabled by default that will prevent opening unsigned apps (also known asGatekeeper).
While this provides little security (any one can buy a $99/year individual developercertificate), it does allow you to verify that the app you just downloaded was,indeed, built and distributed by us (itch.io).
All our OSX binaries are signed by a Developer ID certificate to the name of Amos Wenger,and you can verify them by running the following command in a terminal:
.where /Applications/itch.app https://gambling-top-slots-script-games-jzrim.peatix.com. is the full path to the .app. If the app is correctlysigned, you should see the following terminal output:

The app is self-updating on OSX, just like on Windows. Refer to the Windows page for details.
Uninstalling

You can uninstall the app by dragging itch.app out of your /Applicationsfolder and into the Trash. Otto matic mac os.

Note that this won't remove your library, which resides at ~/Library/Application Support/itch Basketmania mac os. ,along with any additional install locations you have added from the app.
